President

Carolina Martins e Queiroz

Role: I’m the president of MSPS! I oversee the functioning of the society and help around as needed :) i represent your interests in the faculty of science meetings and at the undergraduate curriculum councilFun fact: I know how to build a table if you give me some rope and bamboo.contact: carolina.martinsequeiroz@mail.mcgill.ca

VP External

Sonya Liu

Role: As the VP External of MSPS, I liaison between our department, SUS (Science Undergraduate Society) and the other student associations we collaborate with. I also sit on General Council (GC) and help organize the Awkward events.Fun fact: Because I'm also half in English Literature, I read a lot of non-scientific and non-Physics-related writing that gives me a headache as well.contact: sonya.liu@mail.mcgill.ca

VP Internal

Samy Boutros

Role: Maintaining and improving the resources in the undergraduate physics lounge and study room, and admin for the physics discord server.Fun fact: I love to play basketball and the guitar and fun fact I have the same birthday as Carey Price (go habs go!)contact: samy.boutros@mail.mcgill.ca

VP Communications

Natalia Martorella

Role: I run MSPS’ social media accounts (minus Discord) and our email! I handle all incoming communications and am your point of contact for organizing things with the MSPS. VP Finance

Dinah Ibrahim

Role: I take care of the budget and everything money-related, and organize fundraisers for us to have cool events!Fun fact: I love drawing/painting and playing Stardew Valley or other cozy video games! contact: dinah.ibrahim@mail.mcgill.ca

Audréanne Bernier

VP Academic

Anjara Trachsel-Bourbeau

Role: I handle any academic complaints there might be. I also organize the Grad panel, the Industry panel and the Wine and Cheese event. Olivia Pereira

EDI Coordinator

Ella Iles

Role: Hey everyone my name is Ella and I am the EDI Coordinator! EDI stands for equity diversity and inclusion which means that my job is to foster a welcoming and inclusive community within the undergraduates. I also handle equity complaints, and sit on the department’s EDI committee. Saabir Yousuf

Role: I'm here to represent all of us first-year physics students and to communicate all the diverse physics-related events to you! Year 2 Rep

Anahita Deylemi

Role: I represent the Year 2 student body! I’m here to take any complaints or suggestions you have and bring them to the council. I also keep an eye on the U2 courses, including the ones I’m taking, to make sure they meet academic, equity, and inclusivity standards. Year 3 Rep

Stella Eleftheriotis

Role: I’m Stella. I’m the U3 Year Representative of MSPS. I am here to represent third year students whether it be relating to academic rights, implementing novel ideas, and generally speaking up on behalf of students. I also contribute where I can to organizing events, and helping whoever else might need me in MSPS.Fun fact: I am an avid reader of Greek and Russian literature.
